Curt R. Lavender, 62, of Carpentersville, passed away December 29th, 2020 at Sherman Hospital in Elgin. He was born March 17th,1958 in Greenville, Michigan. A graduate of Buffalo Grove High School. He then became a service man for Sears Roebuck and Company for 37 years.
Marring the love of his life BettyAnne (Cohen) Lavender in August of 2006.
Curt loved spending time at their cabin in Wisconsin as well as riding his motorcycle, four wheeling and was an avid shooter. Curt enjoyed working security at Jamboree Days in Carpentersville and later, Irish Fest in Dundee. He was an active member of the Loyal Order of Moose for 16 years as well as riding with the local Mooseriders. Most of all, Curt loved spending time with his friends, his family and his beloved animals.
Curt will be missed by many. His wife BettyAnne of 16 years; his children, Hilary Dodaro and Anthony (Danielle) Cohen. His grandchildren; Brandon Dodaro and Kaylee Cohen. His Mother, Ardith (Christensen) Lavender. Sisters; Gail Zittel, Brenda (Randy) Bailey. Brother; Scott (Karen) Lavender.
Missed dearly by his in-laws and extended family. Amongst many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Lavender and many family and friends before him.
His wishes were to be cremated and sprinkled on the Lavender property in Wisconsin.
Celebration of life will be held Spring 2021, information to follow.
