David Ryan Marcial of Rockford passed away suddenly on March 1, 2026. David lived life to the fullest and lived it his way. He was always a straight shooter. David enjoyed writing stories and reflecting on life's most important moments.

He is preceded in death by Rudy Marcial. He is survived by his mother Rosemary Ortiz, step-father Joseph Ortiz, his children Jalyssa Marcial and David Marcial Jr., his brothers Ricky (Brooke) Marcial, Angel Marcial, his step-brother Josh Ortiz, step-sisters Jenny Ortiz, Carol Ortiz, and his nephews Rj & Cameron Marcial.

As well as the rest of family and friends, and friends that are family! 

Visitation will be held on Saturday march 7, 2026 at the Dundee Funeral Home 485 Dundee Ave., Dundee Illinois (Across from the Dundee Township Cemetery East on Rt. 25 & 72) from 1pm. to 6pm. Cremation will be private.
