Dimitrios D. Hinaris

Dimitrios D. Hinaris, passed away peacefully August 22, 2025. Born in Greece October 5, 1955 and raised in Chicago by his late parents Dionisios and Joanna Hinaris.

Beloved and devoted husband of Eleni; loving father of Jenna (Shaun) Murray, and Dennis (Constance) Hinaris; caring grandfather of Isadora, Sophia, Ava, Zoe, Daria and Demetrios.

Dimitrios also leaves behind a large extended family whom he loved and cherished, he will be greatly missed by many.

Dimitrios was a very hard and dedicated worker, he devoted much of his time to being a successful restaurant owner, having owned multiple restaurants. But above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed going on family vacations, listening to music cooking with his wife in the kitchen, anything that gave him that quality family time he’s so much enjoyed. Dimitrios was also a doting grandfather and enjoyed playing with his grandkids any chance he could.
