Gabriel Torres Loza of Elgin passed away at Sherman hospital on Tuesday December 28, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Loving husband of Claudia ( née: Salazar) Devoted father of Sonia Y. (Adonis) Chapel, Jorge O. Torres, Belia ( Andrew ) Grygo,  Edgar R. Torres, Emma ( Emanuel ) Lopez, Freddie A. ( Maira ) Torres, Hector A. Torres, Claudia G. Torres. Loving Grandfather of Brandon, Giovanni, Hailey, Hannah, Lesley, Abbey, Edgar Jr., Sophia,Seth, Emily and Valeria. Loving brother of Arturo, the late Mariana , Arcadio the late Eva, Celia, Dolores, Alberto, Carlos, Esperonza , Adan, Gloria. His hobbies were fixing things, tinkering around with things, and loved being a handyman. Was a jokester, and a very caring person, loved karate and western movies and always uplifting those around him. A visitation will be held Tuesday January 4, 2022 at Dundee Funeral Home 525 Dundee Ave. East Dundee (Across from the Dundee Township Cemetery East on Rt. 25 & Higgins Rd.) from 3pm. - 9pm. Funeral service Tuesday 5:pm.
