Maria Mercado Padilla of Elgin passed away on March 12, 2026 at Stroger Hospital in Chicago surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026 from 3pm. to 8pm. at the Dundee Funeral Home 485 Dundee Ave., East Dundee Illinois (Across from the Dundee Township Cemetery East on Rt. 25 & 72) Cremation will be private.
