Marta Reyes Perez, 53, passed away on April 3, 2026, at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, surrounded by her family.

Born on August 15, 1972, Marta lived a life centered on family, love, and simple joys. She found happiness in gardening during the summer months, where she especially adored sunflowers. Marta had a deep love for music, particularly freestyle and Mexican music, and was a devoted fan of the beloved singer Selena Quintanilla. She also enjoyed shopping, traveling to Florida, cheering on the Chicago Cubs, and spending time with her two cherished dogs, Cookie and Negra. Above all, she treasured moments with her children and her partner, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and warmth.

Marta’s generosity, and zest for life touched everyone who knew her. She was a devoted mother, loving partner, and loyal friend, creating countless memories filled with laughter, music, and love.

She is survived by her husband, Rafael Paramo; her children, Ricardo Ramirez, Jennifer Avila, Fransico Avila,and Adan Perez; her daughter-in-law, Selina Gaytan; and her son-in-law, Gabino Castillo. She is also survived by her siblings, Angel, Antonio, Brenda, and Maria.

Marta was preceded in death by her brother, Miguel Perez Jr., and her parents, Miguel Perez Lopez and Maria Del Carmen Reyes Perez.

Visitation will be held on Sunday April 12, 2026 from 3pm to 9pm at Dundee Funeral Home 485 Dundee Ave., East Dundee Illinois (Across from the Dundee Township Cemetery East on Rt. 25 & 72) Cremation will be private.
