Nelson Rodriguez

Nelson Rodriguez, 54, of Pittsboro North Carolina passed away December 6, 2021.  Born December 11, 1966 in Chicago Illinois to the late Santos Sr. and the late Josefina (nee Velasquez) Rodriguez. Devoted father of Nelson G Rodriguez, Vito J. Rodriguez and Michael A. Rodriguez.  Loving brother of the late Santos Rodriguez Jr,  Maria Luz (Duane) Drinkwine, Reynaldo (Maria Isabell) Rodriguez, Lourdes Rodriguez; fond uncle of Marcia Cisneros, Nicole Drinkwine, Duane Drinkwine Jr, Luisa (Jesus) Munoz-Alicea, Carmen Lyssette Munoz, Luis Munoz, Reynaldo Rodriguez Jr., the late Santos Rodriguez and; caring great uncle of Jaxson, Mia, Rosie, Frankie, Jackie, Amaris, Gianna, Miguel, Genesis, Elijah, Amariah, Anali, Leslie, Makayla, Ysabella, Savannah, Aiden and Cole.  Nelson also leaves behind his former wife and mother of his children Lisa A. Lepore, and one very special godchild Stella, as well as many extended relatives and friends.

Nelson enjoyed spending his free time listening to his favorite music, which was "old school music", and watching his favorite football team the Chicago Bears.  He could also be found collecting car memorabilia and getting a good laugh from comics, but above all else, Nelson enjoyed spending time with his loving family.  He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.   Please join us in honoring Nelson Rodriguez Sr. for a time of visitation Wednesday December 15, 2021 from 3pm. - 8pm. at Linhart Funeral Home 6820 Cermak Rd., Berwyn IL. 60402.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday December 16, 2021 at 9:30am at St. Odilo Catholic Church 2244 East Ave. Berwyn IL. Friends can meet at the church.  Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
