Dolores Marie Leake

Dolores Marie (Long) Leake, 91, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2020 in Byron IL. She was born in Chicago, Illinois April 11, 1929 to the late, Excel Long of Richmond, Virginia and Jennie Long of Alsace-Lorraine, France. She is preceded in death by her brother,Robert Long and her son, William (Bill) Soulier.  

She is survived by her brother, Edward Long of Crystal Lake, Illinois, her seven children - Cindy Heuser of Chicago, IL; Sandra Wozniak and husband Walter Wozniak of Elgin, IL; Robyn Suarez and husband Jose Suarez of Chicago, IL; Gail Ramos and husband Joseph Ramos of West Bloomfield, Michigan; Pierre Soulier and wife Deborah of Elgin, IL; Michelle Betthauser and husband Paul of Niles, IL; her step-children include James Leake; Danny Leake and wife Debbie; Laura Warren and husband John.  Also grieving her loss are her seventeen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Join us in honoring the life of Dolores, Monday, November 30, 2020 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm for a time of visitation at Dundee Funeral Home 525 Dundee Ave. East Dundee IL 60118.  Prayer Service will begin at 6:00pm. Cremation rights to be accorded. Inurnment  will be private.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of America in hername.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, all guests are required to wear a mask and observe social distancing.
