Lelia Calderon

Lelia Calderon of Carpentersville passed away on Monday July 18, 2022 at St. Alexius Hospital in Hoffman Estates surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband Gerardo Calderon of 41 years and her 4 children Diane ( Oscar ) Medina and their two daughters Tatiana & Nevaeh, Monica and her 2 children Josie & Kaleb, Sonia ( Fiancé Jay Herrera ) & daughter Olivia, & step kids Fabian & Mia, Daniel and his three children, Exzavier, Jayden,Iliana. She loved her Grandchildren very much they made her very happy every time they were around her. Lelia was a fun and caring person. She loved the slot machines, cooking and making her flour tortillas and always welcomed everyone to her home she loved being surrounded by many people. She will be missed very much by her family and her close friends. Visitation will be held at Dundee Funeral Home 525 Dundee Ave., East Dundee ( Across from the Dundee Township Cemetery East on Rt. 25 & Higgins Rd. ) on the morning of Friday July 22 from 8:00am till 10:00am. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00am at St. Monica Catholic Church in Carpentersville. Interment Dundee Township Cemetery East.
